THE EXPERIENCE
Cup No. 1, located in Frederikshavn, Denmark, is an international youth soccer tournament limited to 300 teams, with approximately 30 countries represented.  The broad, white sandy beaches of nearby Gamel Skagen, and the water park at Farup Sommerland are a fun diversion from soccer, and in the evenings players from all over the world gather at the Cup No 1 Discotheque in an alcohol-free setting to build global friendships.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS
Frederikshavn is considered the "gateway to Scandinavia" -- every year more than 5 million visitors come to the town to experience the lively shopping, the beautiful and safe bathing beaches, and the pleasant nightlife. These visitors create an international atmosphere that adds to the city's liveliness.  The quaint shops, cafes and restaurants alongside the beautiful pedestrian way, the "Gågaden", are one of the reasons why Frederikshavn was recently elected "City of the Year" in Denmark.
